The Ultraviolette Shockwave Electric Enduro's Torque is Insane!

What is happening at Ultraviolette? Pretty much every day, they release a new motorcycle, new scooter, or break a speed record! It's like they don't sleep at all… And now they are bringing us the "Shockwave." And no, it's not a new hairspray; it's an electric enduro bike that promises to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys on roller skates.
Let's just focus on the biggest number for a moment. This crotch rocket has 372.5 lb-ft of torque. That's got to be enough to pull your neighbor's Prius out of a ditch. And yet, somehow, it only has 14.5 horsepower. It's like a bodybuilder with the cardio of a couch potato. Well, it's electric, so who cares?

More numbers that actually matter: it hits 0-37 mph in 2.9 seconds. That's faster than my morning coffee kicks in. And it tops out at 75 mph. Which is plenty fast when you're trying not to kiss a tree. It's got a 4 kWh battery that gives you about 103 miles of range. That should be enough to get you up and down that secret trail you've always wanted to conquer.
What about the price? That'll be $2,000. Pure madness. That's less than a half-decent used car and way, way more fun. Ultraviolette is practically giving it away. There's got to be a catch, right? What are they hiding? Yes, there's a tiny detail that explains the low price - the Shockwave is only available in India for now. What a bummer.

The Shockwave has vertically stacked LED headlights that make it look like a robot with a serious case of the blues. And a portrait-oriented TFT display. I think Ultraviolette is trying to give you personal assistant vibes while you're bouncing around on a dirt trail.
This electric scrambler is perfectly set up - it's got a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. It's got 37-mm cartridge forks up front and a monoshock in the back, which basically means it's ready to soak up all the bumps and bruises you can throw at it.
And for those of you who like to pretend you're in a rally race, it's got four traction control modes and switchable dual-channel ABS. And six levels of regenerative braking, which basically means you can charge your battery while you're going downhill. Genius! They say it's also a practical commuter, with an optional pillion seat. And it charges from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes, which is faster than ordering a pizza where I live.
I know there are other electric enduros out there. Some are faster, some are lighter, but none are as cheap. Ultraviolette decided to throw a party and invite everyone, regardless of their budget. Kudos!
The Ultraviolette Shockwave. It's cheap, it's cheerful, and it's got enough torque to make your eyeballs vibrate. It arrives in India in early 2026, and they're planning to export it to Europe. Honestly, I can't wait to see what it can do. Maybe I'll even take it for a spin myself…
