We're about to talk about a vehicle so long, it needs its own zip code. Yes, I'm talking about the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL. You know, the one that makes a standard Escalade look like a Mini Cooper. Almost… Cadillac, in their infinite wisdom, decided that the regular Escalade EV wasn't quite long enough. So, they stretched it. By a whole 4.2 inches. I know, what's the big deal, right? What's a few more inches? Let me explain.

This electric leviathan clocks in at a staggering 228.5 inches. That's longer than the gas-powered Escalade ESV. So, if you've ever wanted to feel like you're piloting a small bus, this is your ride. And because they've kept the wheelbase the same, the extra space has been dedicated to the third row. Finally, adults can sit back there without needing a chiropractor on speed dial. Legroom jumps to a positively palatial 36.7 inches. And to top it off, you get an extra inch of headroom.

If you're less about hauling people and more about hauling everything, the IQL has you covered. With a whopping 125.2 cubic feet of cargo space, you could practically move your entire house in one trip. And don't forget the eTrunk, which adds another 12.2 cubic feet. That's enough space for a small army of suitcases, or a week's worth of groceries for a small village.

Visually, it's still an Escalade, but Cadillac has given it a few tweaks. The C- and D-pillars are unique to the IQL, and the rear liftgate is more upright. And those massive 24-inch wheels? They're just the cherry on top of this ridiculously large cake.

Of course, all that size wouldn't mean much if it didn't have the power to back it up. Powering this luxurious apartment on wheels is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system cranking out a monstrous 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. That's enough to launch this behemoth from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. It might not be the fastest in today's world of electric cars, but trust me - seeing this beast get up and go is actually a frightening experience. And it does it in utterly menacing silence. Yikes.

The IQL packs a 205 kWh battery pack, which gives it an estimated range of 460 miles. That's enough for 5 hours of non-stop driving, and that should get you from pretty much anywhere to somewhere else. And when you do need to recharge, a DC fast charger can add 116 miles of range in just 10 minutes. Or, if you're patient, a 19.2 kW AC charger will give you about 36 miles of range per hour. Yeah, charging it from a home socket is only for chess players.

Inside, the IQL is everything you'd expect from a Cadillac. Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport trims are all available, each with its own array of goodies. Super Cruise, a 21-speaker AKG Studio audio system, and a massive 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display are all standard. And if you're feeling particularly fancy, you can opt for the Executive Second Row package, which includes heated, ventilated, and massaging power seats, dual 12.6-inch displays, and enough tech to confuse a teenager.

Don't think this electric giant is just for show. Quite surprisingly, it can tow up to 7,500 pounds, which is enough to haul a decent-sized boat. And with features like Air Ride Adaptive suspension, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, and vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging, it's packed with tech that's actually useful.

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL. A vehicle so long, it might just change your perspective on what a car can be. It's big, it's powerful, and it's packed with more tech than a Silicon Valley startup. The price for this electric land yacht is not for the faint of heart. Starting at $132,695, the IQL is a serious investment. Go big or go home, as they say... And while that price tag might make your eyes water, you just can't deny that this is one impressive piece of machinery.
