Oh my goodness, have you seen this thing? Kia has just unveiled the most adorable little camper van you ever did see, and it's giving Toyota a run for its money in the "cute-as-a-button" category. It's called the PV5 WKNDR, and It's like a Transformer that turns into a camper van, only way more cuter.

This isn't just some pie-in-the-sky concept car. It's actually built on a real-life electric transporter that Kia plans to launch in the next year or two. The idea is that you can swap out different "pods" on the back of the van depending on what you need it for. Need to haul cargo? There's a pod for that. Need to take the family on a road trip? There's a pod for that too. And, of course, there's a camper van pod for all you adventurous types.

This little camper is decked out with all the bells and whistles, including a pop-up roof, a small dining area, and even a "Gear Head" that slides out of the side of the van to give you easy access to all your outdoor gear. You can use it to store your camping stove, cooler, folding chairs, and anything else you need for your adventure. The Gear Head is also great for packing and unpacking. Just slide it out, load up your gear, and slide it back in. It's that easy.

But the best part? This van is all-electric, so you can explore the great outdoors without harming the environment. The PV5 WKNDR also got the chops to handle some serious off-roading. With its raised suspension and oversized tires, it can tackle just about anything you throw at it.

Kia's Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) system is all about flexibility. It's just like having a whole fleet of vehicles in one. You can use it for work, for play, or for anything in between. Just swap out the pod and you're good to go.

The PV5 WKNDR is the first camper van pod in the PBV family, and it's a doozy. It's perfect for weekend getaways or even longer camping trips. And with its modular design, you can customize it to fit your needs.

Since this is a SEMA concept car, Kia can get away with being a little bit wacky. So the WKNDR comes with solar panels and - you might wanna sit down for this one - “hydro turbine wheels.” I know, I had to look it up but yeah, it’s a real deal. Kia came up with a futuristic wheel design that uses water sloshing about inside the wheels as they turn, and as a result - they recharge the batteries. Seriously.

The Kia PV5 WKNDR is a cool, green time machine that takes us into the future of camping. It's a modular, all-electric camper van that's perfect for adventurers of all stripes. And with its cute-as-a-button design, it sure looks good. And it has wheels that recharge batteries! Now, how do I talk my husband into getting one of those?
