I Do! Vita & Evoy Tie the Knot and Get Electrified Together

It seems love is in the salty air, and it's not just the smell of seaweed. Two electric marine powerhouses, Vita and Evoy, are hitching their wagons – or should I say, boats – together. And this is no shotgun wedding. This is a match made in electric heaven!
You might remember Vita. We've chatted about them before, especially their electric fling with Maserati that resulted in the oh-so-sexy TRIDENTE day boat. Talk about a power couple! But Evoy, well, they're the new kid on the dock. They make those zippy inboard and outboard electric motors that'll turn your old dinghy into a jet ski. Well, almost.

So, what's the deal with this nautical nuptial? They're basically merging into a European electric boat motor behemoth. Imagine a supergroup, like The Beatles, but instead of mop tops and guitars, it's batteries and propellers.
The goal? To crank out more electric motors faster than a sailor on shore leave, making them cheaper than a lobster roll in Maine. Looking and asking around fellow boaters, it seems pretty much everyone wants an electric boat. They're quieter than a mime on a cruise, don't stink up the joint like a diesel engine, and are smoother than a dolphin's belly. The only hiccup is their price tag. Vita and Evoy hopefully will change that.

With 14 years of experience between them, the two companies have the know-how to make this happen. They're not messing around with those wimpy little electric motors, either. Oh no. These are high-output systems that charge faster than my phone.
And the cherry on top? They're aiming to make DC-charging the norm. So, no more waiting around for your boat to juice up like you're stuck in airport security. It'll be more like a NASCAR pit stop – in and out before you can say, "Shiver me timbers!"
Now, for the juicy details:
Vita: Specializes in high-performance electric powertrains for everything from RIBs (rigid inflatable boats, for those of you landlubbers) to superyacht tenders. Think of them as the fashion designers of the boat world, making everything look sleek and stylish.
Evoy: Masters of the plug-and-play powertrain. They've got the tech to make electric boat motors as easy to install as a toaster. Plus, their production platform is scalable, so they can pump out motors faster than a gossip columnist on a deadline.

Sadly, the press release didn't mention anything about the specs of their first combined offspring. But if their track record is anything to go by, we can expect some serious horsepower.
And as for the name of this new electric boat motor, baby? Well, that's still a mystery. Maybe they'll call it "Vita-Evoy" or "Evoy-Vita." Or maybe something completely different. I think "Electric Sea Stallion" has a nice ring to it. But whatever they call it, this is a match made in electric heaven. And I, for one, can't wait to see what kind of electric waves they'll make.
