Bigger Really Is Better: Sunreef's New 111-Foot Hybrid Catamaran Makes a Splash

Sunreef Yachts has just unleashed its newest behemoth onto the high seas. And when I say behemoth, I mean it – this hybrid catamaran is 111 feet long! They're calling it the flagship of their Ultima range, and after taking a virtual tour, I can see why.
Sunreef has been on a roll lately, expanding their Ultima collection at a pace that makes my head spin. They started in 2023 with a couple of sleek hybrid cats, and now they've got six of these eco-speeders, ranging from a 'paltry' 45 feet all the way up to this new leviathan.

What makes these Ultimas so special? Well, for starters, the stability and comfort of a catamaran combined with the speed and agility of a monohull. It's essentially having your cake and eating it, too, but on the water. Sunreef's secret sauce is their "ultimate hull shape," which, let's be honest, sounds a bit like marketing jargon. But then again, if it means less drag and better performance, I'm all for it.
This new 111-footer is a sight to behold. Designed in collaboration with Phathom Studio, it's got that sporty, automotive vibe that seems to say, "I'm fast, but I'm also eco-conscious." It's decked out with Sunreef's own solar skin, custom battery banks, and a hybrid propulsion system that'll make Greta Thunberg proud. And if that's not enough, you can even add hydrofoils to make it glide across the waves like a futuristic manta ray.

While the outside is jaw-droppingly beautiful, the inside is something entirely else. Imagine an open atrium staircase that gracefully connects all three levels. This really is like something out of a Bond movie, but without the villains (hopefully). All the guest cabins are cleverly positioned, giving you both space and stunning views. The owner's suite is the real showstopper, though, with its own private terrace and direct access to the forward deck. Talk about living the high life!
Of course, no luxury catamaran would be complete without ample outdoor space. The upper deck is where the party's at, with a plush lounge, a glass hot tub (because why not?), and an alfresco dining area. The bow and aft deck offer more lounging options, and the swim platform has fold-out terraces that lead straight into the water. And if you need even more space, the upper deck balconies can be expanded at the touch of a button.
Sunreef has even cleverly tucked a full tender garage beneath the aft deck, so you can store all your water toys without compromising the cat's sleek lines.
As for the nitty-gritty? Hopefully, we will know something soon. And the price? Well, my wild guess is that this beastly beauty costs as much as some small country's budget. But for those with deep pockets, this floating palace is an oasis of tranquility that's sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
So, the Sunreef's new 111-foot hybrid catamaran then. It is simply a testament to innovation, luxury, and eco-consciousness. It's the kind of boat that makes you want to sell everything you own, buy a captain's hat, and set sail for the horizon.
